The Albert Lea Figure Skating Club is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership. The Board meets monthly. Watch the bulletin board for dates and time of Board Meetings if you are interested in attending. (They are currently being held on the 2nd Monday at 6:30 at the City Arena.) During the summer months, time and locations vary. You are invited to attend the meetings, which are open unless the board is discussing personnel issues, or past due accounts, which require a closed session. Questions, concerns and comments from member are welcomed and will be addresses during the first 10-15 minutes. Some of the annual events include the fall orientation and the annual meeting in the spring at which time we hold elections for new board members. Fundraisers are discussed at the fall orientation meeting. |
